About
Silvia
I’m a musculoskeletal physiotherapist based in Brighton with over 15 years of clinical experience across NHS and private healthcare settings in the UK.
I’ve worked with non-contact and contact sports, including professional rugby, boxing and MMA teams, and have extensive experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation and persistent pain conditions.
I became a physiotherapist because I’ve always been curious about how the body works and how pain develops. What I enjoy most is understanding why someone is in pain. Every person is different, so I take the time to listen carefully, assess thoroughly and identify the key factors contributing to your symptoms.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychoneuroimmunology. This supports a broader understanding of how stress, sleep, nutrition and recovery can influence pain and rehabilitation, particularly in long-standing or recurring conditions.
My aim is to provide clear, honest and effective physiotherapy, helping you understand your condition and supporting you to move forward with confidence.

My approach
My sessions are structured but flexible and centred around you. We start with a thorough evaluation, taking time to discuss your symptoms, concerns, and how your condition is affecting your daily life, training, or work. This is combined with a detailed physical assessment to identify the key factors contributing to your symptoms. I’ll then explain the findings of the examination, your diagnosis and the proposed plan clearly, so you fully understand what’s going on and why.
Treatment is guided by what your condition requires. This commonly includes hands-on treatment, using appropriate manual therapy techniques, alongside practical advice on what you can do to support a smooth recovery. Rehabilitation is tailored to your current situation and goals. You’ll be guided through a personalised rehab programme, provided in an online format so you can review it at any time and progress with confidence between sessions.
